Terms of use
Last updated
Find Your Size is a free guide to sizes, built from published sources. By using it you accept these terms.
In short
- Every size comes from a published source, shown with the date we checked it.
- Sources change, so check the actual sizes for the exact model before you buy.
- We sell nothing. Anything you buy through a link marked Ad, you buy from Amazon or its seller.
- Tell us about a mistake and we will check the source again.
Who runs this site?
Find Your Size is run by one person who likes finding the published rule behind a size.
Who runs this site?
Find Your Size is run by one person, as the line at the foot of every page says. In these terms, we and us mean that person. The contact page says how to reach us.
What can I use Find Your Size for?
You can use Find Your Size to work out a size from rules that makers, trade bodies, standards bodies and charities publish. Each answer shows its rule, its source, the date we checked it and how sure it is.
It is a guide to the size a published rule gives, not a promise that a particular product will fit.
Should I check a size before I buy?
Yes. Check the actual sizes before you buy, and for a child's bike the minimum and maximum inside leg for the exact model.

Sources change and sizes differ between makers: Islabikes notes that the size range for some of its models has changed over the years, and the National Bed Federation says not to go by names alone.

What if a size here is wrong?
If a size here is wrong, tell us: we check the source again and correct the page in public on the corrections page. We cannot promise that a source is free of errors, or that it has not changed since the date we checked it.
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for a loss that comes from relying on a size here without checking the maker's own figures. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
What about links to Amazon and other sites?
Links marked Ad go to Amazon, and links to our sources go to the publishers we cite, such as makers, trade bodies, standards bodies and charities. We do not run those sites, so their own terms apply there.
We sell nothing ourselves. A purchase through a link marked Ad is made with Amazon or its seller, on their terms. The affiliate disclosure explains how those links work.
Can I share or link to Find Your Size?
Yes. You can link to any page and share any result link.
Please ask us by email before copying our text or drawings.
Can these terms change?
Yes, these terms can change. When they do, the date at the top of this page changes with them.
